Every 90 seconds someone dies from sudden cardiac arrest in the United States. One thing that I have learned in my 10 yrs. as a paramedic for Indianapolis is that nobody survives Cardiac Arrest without the rapid response of those around them. Bystander CPR and and quick access to an AED are the only variables that make a difference between survival and death.
